HB 208 is on the move. This horrible bill enables public school districts to stay closed to in-person instruction as far out as 2022. Instead, Frankfort should be encouraging schools to get the children back into the classroom.
Private schools and many public school districts have already proven that it can be done safely.
Now that every teacher in Kentucky who wants a vaccine has received it, there is no excuse for children to continue online learning.
Unfortunately, HB 208 is that excuse. We need your IMMEDIATE ACTION to put an end to this bill. Here are the 3 things you need to do:
Fill out the petition and share it with other friends.
Call your state legislators at 1-800-372-7181 and tell them to vote NO on HB 208.
Email the Education Chair Senator Max Wise at max.wise@lrc.ky.gov to tell him to kill the bill in the Senate.
