Counting COVID-19 cases isn't the only metric that matters. We must also consider a child's social, emotional, and academic needs

As with any therapy in medicine, we must weigh the risks and benefits. 

Given that the risk of death or serious illness among children is almost 0%, it is difficult to confidently claim that the benefits of a COVID-19 vaccine outweigh its risks. 

Therefore, we believe the decision to vaccinate a child is best left to a child's parents.
