Dear Elected Official:

​

The reality is that COVID isn't going away. Despite concerns about the delta variant, initial data show that COVID remains less deadly to children than the flu. This is why many other European countries have remained in person without masks despite having more delta variant than the United States.

​

Sadly, this is the third school year that children have been affected by COVID-19. How many more years are we going to allow our children's education to be seriously harmed?

​

Last year, the teachers unions refused to return to in-person instruction unless outrageous demands were met. We cannot let this happen again.

​

It's time to stand up to these political games and put Kentucky students first.
